I dont want to live in new orleans again but i do love the place. No place like it (in a good way), the haters gonna hate.

Most of these cities show a net migration out from New Orleans. This list is shite for New Orleans.

Since the OP is too lazy to post the list and slideshows are stupid:
1. Baton Rouge - 4,612 (yet 6,222 made the move from NOLA TO Baton Rouge)
2. Houston - 2,655 (yet 2,749 made the move from NOLA TO Houston)
3. Lafayette - 1,620
4. Atlanta - 1,371 (yet 1,575 made the move from NOLA TO Atlanta)
5. Washington, D.C. - 1,287
6. Hammond - 1,157
7. Houma-Thibodaux - 1,027
8. New York City - 989
9. Shreveport - 870
10. Dallas-Fort Worth - 855
So 5/10 on the list are other places in the same state, 3/10 are places that more people left NOLA for than came to NOLA from, and the most populated city in the country (New York) with 8.4 million people had a whopping total of less than 1,000 people going to NOLA.
I don't know if this article was meant to be a positive one, but this is pretty bleak.

Whats bleak is there are more people moving into new orleans than moving out, population continues to rise year after year

I didn't say the population wasn't increasing. Just that the list of the top ten cities isn't something to hang your hat on - which it seems like what nola.com is trying to do.

So more people are moving to Baton Rouge from New Orleans than to New Orleans from Baton Rouge?

I went to UNO, spent a lot of time in various parts of the city.
I don't get the draw.
The quarter is absolutely disgusting, and the rest of it isn't anything special. Not a fan. Much prefer BR.
