Pixel 6 has a Canadian mode.

It’s from a problem associated with physical film in that you need to expose whatever you’re shooting with your camera to enough light for it to be picked up on film.

Digital camera don’t have this problem because the sensors can pick up picomoles of photons, so you don’t need proper lighting.

However, I don’t really understand how this hasn’t already been widely corrected since the advent of digital cameras 20 years ago. If Google is saying that theirs is the first digital camera to photograph with minimal lighting, I think they’re being a little disingenuous.

It used to be the case that to photograph something, you needed to expose enough light to be picked up on film.

You still need enough light for digital sensors.

If anything, film has more dynamic range to correct for under/over exposure.
