That's no different from years past though. We used to have disposable cameras and shite for concerts. Just the technology changed.

Or just don't go if you're going to complain about how others enjoy the concert

I'm pretty sure Millenials and Gen Y are the same thing.

1983-2000

2000-now is the Gen-Z/ Millenium / 911 generation.

But this shite never makes sense until way later because I feel like the 90's kids are a different generation from the 80's kids. Though if we look at Boomers, there was a HUGE difference between the 60's and 70's kids.

So long post short. Gen-Y = Millenials.

I'm 24, nerd. I like to actually listen to concerts and see them with my eyes instead of through my phone while worrying about telling everyone that I'm at the concert.

Probably true... but that's only because 90% of the cars today are automatic.

Right.

It was Gen Y (as in, after Gen X) before the term Millennial came into being.

All of them encompass too long of a range.

I was born in 1980, I almost certainly have more in common with millennials born in the mid 80s than I do with fellow Gen Xers born in the late 60s.

Seven Generations alive now.

GI / Greatest - Born before 1927 (cut off year for being military age for ww2) likely served in ww2 or helped in a facet of it. Birthed the boomers.

Silent Generation - Born between 1927 and 1946. Traditionalist, hard workers, birthed late Baby boomers (70's kids) and early GenXers. Fought in the Korean and Vietnam wars.

Baby Boomers - 1946-1966
very large generation started after ww2 (baby boom)

Gen X - grew up with rapidly developing technology. The video game generation. Started 1967 but ended between 1977 and 1985 depending on who you talk to, I say mid 80's personally.

Millenials / Gen Y - 1980's(mid) to 1998
Even more tech than Gen X, never known a world without computers or cell phones.

Gen Z/ Centinnials/ Millenium generation
1998/2000 - current.

They just fricked, lets pray for them and keep making more to take care of us later.

I forgot there are a few people left over 103, so technically eight generations.

Inter-Bellum generation - 1900-1914 born at an age too young for WW1 and too old to be drafted in WW2. responsible for the great depression though on the other hand, they also are responsible for reversing their parent's horrible anti-alcohol amendment.

I was born in 80 as well. It's odd, we are like a lost generation from 1979 to 1985 because in a lot of ways we don't fit Gen X norms and in many ways we don't fit Millennial definitions as well. I always used to say Gen X.
