Perhaps hundreds of thousands. Dare I say millions?

As little as a week ago, politicians and the media were screaming that social distancing and wearing masks and staying safer at home were crucial to preventing the spread of covid. They were blaming Trump’s response and handling of the pandemic as being solely responsible for tens of thousands of deaths. Many states were remaining shut down and even some cities (Birmingham) were keeping drastic restrictions in order to protect citizens from the worst respiratory infection since the Spanish Flu.

Either that was all bullshite or these protestors who are gathering in large numbers without social distancing literally all across the country are going to directly impact and potentially kill thousands upon thousands of people.

If there’s a second wave soon, will the media point the finger in the right direction? Or continue to find a way to blame Trump?

This is all entirely embarrassing.

I think preventing the spread of a virus becomes secondary when you have some serious rioting to do

COVID-19 was bullshite, and these protest turning riots are bullshite. It’s all bullshite. One day I will get to feel the sweet relief of death ending it all. Until then, I know everything is bullshite and I won’t change people’s minds. I will just keep doing me until I die of a second heart attack at the age of 67, days before I retire.

Or continue to find a way to blame Trump?

It's a very predictable narrative going forward.

If the COVID numbers don't multiply, the narrative will be that the Democratic "protesters" wore their masks, social distanced, and did it "the right way" despite the lack of response from Trump.

If the numbers do spike up, it will be Trump's fault because he created the hyper-racist environment that led to the death in MN and the riots, no one would have gotten sick if he had done his job
