She used Bumble just to see what the stats would be. She said many men did not want to have sex, but wanted to text about having sex. Her approach, and answers may have had something to do with that.
She could find a decent guy in a blue collar bar that would treat her well, bang her until her eyes rolled back, and call her back. That is not what she wants.
She still believes she is a princess, waiting for that stud from the world of academia to sweep her up. I think her life has already proved that will not happen.
When she hits her mid 50's, she will be alone and unable to give any away. This could change if she would change her attitude, and expectations.

Because of the internet, the dynamic is changing. Young males now know that they are setting themselves up for a financial arse kicking by getting married. The availability of decently attractive women that will have sex if they are treated nicely, and a $7 pizza is brought over, has negated the power of those with the princess mentality. An 8 that wants you to take her out to $200 meals is bypassed for a friendly 6.
Lowered expectations will continue, and I even expect to see the unfair divorce laws changing, just to facilitate the rise in marriage.
