But the hosts believed there were better ways to handle the situation than public shaming, particularly after Jacenko said she believed the incidents were not targetted rather that it was a person getting a thrill: “some people have sex on street, some people sh** in the street”.

They also questioned Jacenko’s decision to leverage off the scandal by promoting Metamucil in a sponsored Instagram post in which she appeared next to a man dressed as a poo.

“The other thing I found really gross about this was Roxy plugging Metamucil after it, she did some sort of weird potentially sponsored video with Metamucil, leveraging off publicly shaming somebody.

“I do think that is kind of gross because she deleted those videos and she acknowledged that they weren’t helpful and that they could potentially do harm to people and yet still wanted to make money out of it I also roll my eyes at the Metamucil people for wanting to jump on a story like this, I just think that is a little bit uncouth.”
