Anyone have a decent audio version of “I’m a freebird, what’s you’re excuse?” song, that replaces “Bradstreet USA” during the latter run of Hayes and Garvin?

I wonder how high you would get sniffing the dust at the bottom of that fanny pack?

I know Taz had the Katahajime that was a choke that looked like the sleeper. But that was ECW.

Fricking Joey Styles always coming up with stupid, exotic names for regular holds.

ither Mid South or old NWA or maybe WCW some wrestler had a finishing move kind of like a sleeper that, to my childish ears, sounded like “the Shennendomaki.” What was the actual name and who was that wrestler?
Was it the “black ninja”? Who would come out with a black ninja suit but with a fencing mask, instead of the typical ninja mask?

It's actually a legit judo choke.

You’re referring to The Great Kabuki - the move was the shinin no maki

Good call.
Who was the “black ninja” in mid south? Kabuki? Kendo Nagasaki? A young Muta?

I wish I'd been around to see Mid South.

Okay this thread is where I will get an answer I have been after for years. In either Mid South or old NWA or maybe WCW some wrestler had a finishing move kind of like a sleeper that, to my childish ears, sounded like “the Shennendomaki.” What was the actual name and who was that wrestler?
That would be Lord Humongous and yes that was the name and move you're thinking of. He was in The Stud's Stable in the old Southeastern Championship Wrestling.

Humongous squashed “Capt Redneck” Dick Murdock in his debut. Scared me and my friends back in the day, because Murdock was a badass.

Jeff Van Camp played him then. He was later played by Sid in the latter part of the 80s.
