The kid, wife and I have it right now. For some reason, the school thought it would be a good idea to take 14 3rd graders to the hospital to sing Christmas songs. Now 5/14 kids have the flu, no telling how many parents and siblings.

I have family in the area. I'd offer you a home cooked meal but you're contagious and I don't want them bringing that gunk here next week. My household just got over all that mess.

No sorry dude. The absolute worst is getting the flu and having young kids. It’s like being tortured to a slow death.

Doesn't protect you from all strains.
But do you know for sure it was the flu? I had a really bad cold that I came down with starting Friday, went out Saturday night, Sunday I woke up feeling like shite. Sunday and Monday I felt horrible. I took cold medicine Sunday night and Monday night, I feel a lot better today, but still not 100%.
I had flu like symptoms, but it wasn't the flu.
