I've already posted something from Berkeley that disagrees with that assessment.
Here's something from 2023 talking about how it's Chicago.
Here's one that doesn't even have NYC in its top 10.
As I said earlier, we're going to end up with there are good and bad everywhere, but we'll have to let some whiny Southerners (and one non-Southerner who supports them) carry on with their "the North is so much worse" routine I guess.

The link was provided by the other poster. You asked to be shown something that says NYC is number one in segregration. That was provided. Backpedal and goal post move all you like, you were given what you asked for. Where did I claim "the North is so much worse?" I didn't. But now that you mention it, in my 25 years of being married to a black woman, most of the racism we've encountered has been up here in the NYC metro area.

Yep. Been to all except Boston and can attest. And Western PA is home. I miss it dearly.
But Western PA is also the Midwest/Appalachia. Not the NE.
