This is typically the time of year lesser quality films are released. Potential Oscar contenders are traditionally released towards the end of the year, before the cutoff for awards season.

Yeah but those are still being delayed/effected you don’t want your movie to bomb bc you put it out before everything is completely back to normal or as close to it as possible

If they think it's going to be bad enough to move the date already, how the hell do they think movies are even going to get made this year?
