I think it's the opposite. If you're one of thos people that complains about left hand "slow asses" then you're likely one of those people who drive up going 90-100 in the left lane and rides people's arse while they are passing a column of cars that are in the right lane. Then when the tiniest opening shows they swerve into the cushion giving just a few feet of space and making bad accidents much more likely.
These people are much worse than slow left lane drives. I'd rather deal with having to wait for someone to get out of the way. These type of people actually cause more accidents and slow downs because people have to keep braking to avoid them.

I usually set my cruise on 80 mph. I think it's ridiculous if I have to slow down to 67 mph in the left lane because some a-hole thinks it's ok to just hang out there for a while.

The problem is that some speed limits are completely arbitrary. Ever driven through a small town? Any reason for the speed limit to be 45 on a 4 lane highway? It definitely isn't because of heavy foot traffic or anything remotely legit.
But I agree that if someone is doing 100 and comes up on a left lane driver doing 80, it is not the second dude's fault.

I refuse to believe that anyone that's constantly been in a similar situation, could disagree with you. If they've never been in this situation, then they either never venture out if the right lane, or they are a habitual offender in the left.

What amazes me is people who put their lives at risk by getting within inches of my bumper simply because they don't like how fast I'm going. If I'm already going 10 miles over the speed limit then screw you.

Most of the time, the guy going 80+ has serious road rage issues. Someone might be going 75 in a 70 to pass 5 cars in the left lane going 63. Usually, the guy going 80+ barrels down on the guy trying to go around the traffic in the right lane as if he is going to drive through the guy trying o go around traffic and starts flashing his headlights the instant he gets behind them.

It might be arbitrary, but it is the law. The same can be said for someone driving on the interstate. If no other cars are around, which this does happen, what is wrong with driving in the left lane? In both cases, arbitrary or not, it is against the law.

Ok and no where have I said that it's ok for anyone to be doing 68 in the left lane of a 70. I have clearly talked about people going over the speed limit in the left lane. No, frick the guy in the left lane of a 70 going 63, but that isn't what MOST in here are talking about.
