I don't remember WWE doing all this for Undertaker's retirement. They kinda did for Flair's retirement, the WWE one, but they didn't build a whole show around him.

Since it'll come up...
They're not doing "farewell NXT" call-ups anymore. It's now more of a "soft opening" style. They will now slowly transition to the main roster.

But this is the first time WWE has done this because this is the first time a top guy said he was done and booked a whole year -- which the Rock almost ruined. We'll see more of these in the future.
