Department spokesman Officer Sam Clemens said Saturday investigators were concerned that “the kids didn’t like nap time,” but the reason why became clear after they reveiwed security video footage from between Feb. 14 and Feb. 23 at Little Blessings Learning Center

I think that part of the statement was to drive home the point that it wasn't a case of someone just snapping out of frustration, they were abusing them for the hell of it. That adds an even larger criminal element IMO.

I agree with that.

So the police were called to a daycare where there were children that were resisting a rest?

I have a 3 year old, this breaks my heart. Luckily his daycare has cameras I can log into and watch. It keeps people honest.

I haven't seen this video but if it is as bad as the cops say it is, they should both be executed.

partial blame on parents for leaving kids with these people

What would you have done differently? I'm sure the parents didn't know beforehand they were abusive.

Camera's are the way to go, nothing could have been done different besides the parent staying there all day.

Those are white women hand made by the Gods for certain factions of minorities, I doubt that is the case.

Could you imagine the rage you'd feel if you saw a video of some trashy bitch beating your toddler at day care?

I would explode. It would be uncontrollable.

Scorched earth, Keyser Soze style

I like where my son goes to daycare, but every time I read a story like this it just makes me realize you never really know about the people you are entrusting your children with.

That would give me a huge piece of mind. Right now, we're paying an individual to watch our son at our house that we trust. Threads like this is why we went that route, and it's costing us $2,000 a month. Yes, we have nanny cams. I might get on board with daycare if I have the ability to see my child on camera during the day. It would save a lot of money.
