To me, it paints them in an even worse light. Not that by any means is child abuse justified or warranted. Shows that they are straight evil bitches that dont deserve to live

I think that part of the statement was to drive home the point that it wasn't a case of someone just snapping out of frustration, they were abusing them for the hell of it. That adds an even larger criminal element IMO.
