We cover songs from the 60s. We don’t have a name yet. It’s me and a guitarist. I play drums
It’d be cool to have another guitarist and especially somebody with experience in being in a band that actually does something.

You’ve got to be pretty solid as a cover band with a gimmic to get into one of those venues. Basically, you’d have to be an all-out tribute band that dresses like the artist and only plays their songs (like Atomic Punks for Van Halen). If you’re fun and good you can get into lots of decent paying cover band venues like Superior Grill or the Cadillac.
When you say 60’s, do you mean James Brown, the Beatles, the Doors, Swamp Pop, or hippy Buffalo springfield stuff?

I would tell jokes too so people would forgive some of the musical issues

He seems like he will come up with an excuse with any piece of advice someone gives him.
He can change his physical appearance in a few months by just not being a lazy frick. Then more women may give him a chance and his confidence will improve and then maybe he'll take a chance on improving his career with that renewed confidence.

Well, yeah, you could always rent the place out, but that coste money. It’s much better for them to pay you to play there than vice versa

im going through some issues. m trying with this job search. Im also studying for these tests. My weight loss has been halted. but im going to start biking .
what kind of band plays at freds/ivars. i dont like those places, but ill play them. also, i wouldnt mind frat parties.

Ivars doesn't do bands. Fred's doesn't book bands often, but they do a few times per year. Typically, Fred's and frat bros either book C-list rappers like Wakka Flakka Flame or party cover bands like Bag of Donuts or Molly Ringwalds assuming the guys in the frat aren't friends with someone in a band. Every now and again, they'll book an original indie band like Moon Taxi.

ivars had a band for st paddys. Idk where to start.i played upright bass in middle school but i suck dick right now. having trouble with tabs. the college scene would be god but idk where to play. well,. also im not in a band yet..
