They must see the water levels falling. Good news for people south/west of 74 if so.

Live I-10 west at bluff cam:

That is the Manchac, the higher it gets the higher all the backwater flooding will be.

I was able to get to Lake Sherwood and the water got too high. Hopped in a truck from there and made it to Woodland Ridge. Every house in there will take on water. At least a dozen boats in there now but need more as well as trucks to bring people to shelter.

No, on 870 they just said they are shutting it down because all they are doing is recirculating water.

Weather Channel is back on with the flooding... talking to Denham Springs FD Chief

I know this is probably better suited on tRant than here but I'll post it anyway... no one's heard from Jim Hawthorne since yesterday... he's MIA

Just keep watching that cam. Ive been watching it over the last 2 hours and seeing it get higher and higher over the westbound lanes. It should help us keep an eye on what manchac is doing

Damn, then that really sucks.

That is all that moves water out of central AP (new river)

just wondering. since they are in such need of supplies at celtic studios, is there any way they could open up costco and let relief workers get stuff there?
