MONKEY WIRELESSLY CONTROLS WHEELCHAIR WITH ITS BRAIN

Unlike previous studies done with monkeys and BMIs, the participant monkeys in this study did not have to move their bodies in order to teach their brains how to move external machines. This means that even if people have no control over their limbs or muscles, they’ll still be able to learn how to control external machines — critical if paraplegics and quadriplegics are to be helped by this tech.

In a few short years humans will be nothing more than batteries to be harvested for the machines.

cool experiment, monkey locked down, has to tell the chair to go for food. The scientists must have shite their pants when it worked.

Well it will be very convenient to control all electronics with just my thoughts especially the thermostat in the middle on the night. The new Atlas video is remarkable. Our great grand kids will see those videos like we view the black and white films of the Wright Brothers flights.
