I think it may be more than economic power. Here’s anecdotal example:

I , from AL, lived in Nola for about 4 years with a grossly expired car tag. Never pulled over. I let a black friend (who is born and raised in Nola , approximately 50 years old and a good dude) borrow my car. Within 2 days he was pulled over 3 times for the expired tag.
I can’t believe that level of disparity is coincidental.

Get out of here with your logic and common sense!

Money is defiantly part of it. The other part is being attractive.

If you're and OT 8 or above the world will bend over backwards for you.

Wealth is certainly a large part, and not easily pulled apart.

Will smiths kid are riding their bike down a steep hill with a bit of a wind in their face.

The broke white kid is riding up a steep hill with some breeze at their back.

We know who will go faster but that doesn’t mean the wind isn’t there at all.
