Heard just made sure the door was open for the prior DV arrest to come in!!!!!
ETA: time stamp it, transcribe it, have it available on video... ask for the sidebar as soon as the defense lawyer sits down and let it be known you want to talk about the prior DV arrest b/c Amber said 'it's wrong to hit someone'

So is the fundamental issue here whether Depp actually abused Heard? Because I think he is going to lose that issue.

The suit specifically is about the Washington Post article which he claims defamed him and caused his loss of income due to the accusations. He is claiming she was actually the abuser and is lying.
So far, all she's done is state these things on the stand. She is now showing a bruise on her arm she is claiming was caused by him. She's offered no proof. Meanwhile, he has pictures, audio recordings, hospital documentation, and witnesses all backing up his side.
With this being a civil suit, he only needs a preponderance of the evidence, not reasonable doubt.

Again, I don't doubt he hit her. But she just said he beat her face then showed a picture of a bruise on her arm to prove it.
That is either bad lawyering or a hole in her story.

this supposedly happened while Depp's driver was driving the car?
the defense had a chance to ask Johnny's driver about this incident already and didn't even mention it
right now it's just part of Amber's story
