explain whats funny. any state other than new york or cali losing a 100,000 citizens a year to another state would be catastrophic. how many more years does this need to happen before you think it’s less funny?

The Poli-addled brain is funny. The post I was responding to is the typical "I know a guy", Calisessed bullshite this place is known for.

The reality is, if you aren't living in LA or SF you aren't encountering any of the "abnormal behavior" to begin with.

820k out of 40M is about 2%. And if you compare the overall net gain/loss of around 342,000, it's about 1% in one year. Now multiply that out by 10 years for the next census and it's about 10%. If nothing changes for that whole 10 years, that's a fairly significant population change.

Let’s keep logic and math out of this. Only knee jerk reactions please.

I fully believe democrat politicians enact shitty economic policies in places like CA, IL, and NY with the goal of driving people to move.

Completely agree with this part. The high taxes pushed by Democrats affect the wealthy elites the least. Rich liberals can afford the higher taxes and inflation. It’s the working class that gets crushed by Democrat policies, but the elites don’t care and want them to leave.
