That was my guess. When I took that UNO satellite course at the JP library near W Esplanade and Causeway, there wasn't much of a feeling of college town or community. Mother dropped me off. I attended class and then she picked me up. I don't think anyone in the class was friends with each other and there was no socializing after class.

Jesus do you have a hard on for Oregon. Sorry your time there sucked so bad but you are wrong, as usual when it comes to Oregon.
Corvallis is a very clean little city. Worst problem with it is it's going way left compared to back in the day. Other than that it's a nice town.
