Wait wat. This is a thing?

I remember seeing the lumberjack type competitions back in the day, maybe on ESPN, and axe throwing was one of the events, but I didnt realize this was a thing that got popular.

Atrocious. Who hosts these things? Where can a person go to throw axes? Where?

Went to one in a Nashville last year that was being renovated to market as a top golf of Axe throwing. Wasn’t finished though so for us it was about $20 a person to basically throw the axe 10 times each with an instructor and was BYOB.

I just don't understand how a business insurance would allow it.

Tried it once when one of my wife's co-workers, a much younger woman, invited us to give it a go.

I found it to be a bit lame and really don't understand the fascination some folks have with it.

I do love to play pool and have been an active dart player for over 3 decades now and find both much more enjoyable.

But, to each their own and if someone finds it to be a great pastime, what do I care. I just know it's not for me and won't be doing it again.

Axe or hatchet?

They call it axe throwing but it really is a hatchet. The one time I went they had several on hand for those that don't have their own custom gear.
