Overextended on rapidly depreciating assets and regularly taking losses on investments? Who is really taking the L's here?

45K for a Tacoma. WTF?!

Why are you surprised? I remember months after I graduated college I was searching for new SUV's. I remember in 1998 at the Toyota dealer in BR looking at a brand new 1999 Toyota 4Runner for a MSRP of $31K. This was 24 years ago. I said frick this I cannot afford this. Instead I went to a Ford dealer and got me an Explorer for almost $10K less.

Ive answered every question you've asked. Now answer mine.

This thread is about overextending on vehicles. You've been badgering (for 12 pages) anyone who posts in support of prudent vehicle spending practices. Yet you say you practice prudent vehicle spending practices. So again, why are you here?

Please tell me these high quality aftermarket addons you install.

I was quoted $1200 for remote start & $600 for roof rack. I bought the factory remote start module and key fobs online for $380. I spent 30 minutes installing and paid the dealer $100 to program the car, that took 5 minutes.

The roof rack I found for less than $200 and installed in 5 minutes.

$1800 from dealer or $650 from aftermarket.

why do you keep using this as some type of insult when you yourself have stated that its possible to own a $90k truck and still be smart about it

Pretty sure I've only "badgered" you and the shrubber, so again, you're just full of shite.

You're talking about accessories. If you're cool with missing on certain features that only come from higher trim packages, so be it.

Katzkin leather isn't anything to write home about btw.

Just curious. If the vehicle you want that is on the lot already has these installed do you tell them to take them off?

But I've been here since the beginning, wouldn't I "badger" more people than you? And I've never said any of the stuff you claim I have, so who's really doing the badgering here?
