You got a job offer because you didn’t have a truck?

I've never once advocated for overexerting yourself to buy a vehicle.

That’s good. I never said you did.

Please tell me these high quality aftermarket addons you install.
You dont know very much about cars, do you?
I'll give you 3 good examples. I could have purchased running boards from GM for about $750. Instead, I bought them from Go Rhino for under $500. They are much better than factory, have the exact look I wanted, and were cheaper. Another is leather. You can still get Katskinz put in a vehicle for about $1500 and that leather wont crack for a decade. Bedliner is another... 600 from the factory and 350 in the aftermarket for a longer lasting product. Its a no-brainer.
ETA: You know why the manufacturer can charge more for less? Because of financing. They know your broke arse cant afford it otherwise.

No. You are just in a thread about overextending yourself on a vehicle, badgering everyone who criticizes overextending yourself on a vehicle.

Yep, its obvious who the dudes who have the $1,200 truck notes "because the bank let them" are in this thread.

You didn't in those steps. You did in this post though

Good question. As some have pointed out, debt can be effectively leveraged to MAKE you money. I had the cash to buy that truck, but instead, I invested the cash in real estate about a year ago. That property has doubled in value and has a rental income stream. I financed the truck at virtually zero interest on a short term and I intend to keep it for a long time. That frees up more cash to invest.

Depends on where the property is, not outlandish. Real estate is out of control

But that wasnt the post you were resposding to, Simple Jack.
But I digress... I did extremely well with that property. Its the best I've ever done investing over that time period, but I've never lost money on an investment either.
So fricking what? You still mad because I wont buy a 90K truck?

Then you don't follow your own steps. Either way, you're telling at least one lie in this thread.

Thats not even remotely rare. Valuations go up and down, for sure - but I've never cashed out down. I have a good bit in real estate and those values have continually gone up.
