My wife and I married very young when neither had anything. She was a rock, and she took care of everything related to the household, except for the things that required a man’s strength. Her steady, reliable work allowed me to focus on making money, and we got fairly rich. I “earned” the money, but she was the support that made it possible. If we got divorced she would deserve half of everything.

Even that would be a bad deal for her, because I have developed skills that would allow me to easily earn a fortune over the next ten years if I wanted to. If she got a fair judgement it would include half of that, too.

Let me explain this to you again. No woman married or not is responsible or deserves what I do for any income stream. Especially one that sits at home and their biggest decision is when to run the dishwasher or washing machine and what time to fold clothes or pickup kids from school. Prenups exist for a reason and anyone who has any semblance of assets who doesn’t have one is an idiot. You are basically giving free rein for someone to take half your shite for no reason. Women are irrational. One can wake up and decide she doesn’t love you anymore and take half your shite. You might be willingly want to give up years worth of work and decisions but not me. What’s mine is mine. If she wants money she can go get a corporate job and deal with all the stress and bullshite that comes with it. My girlfriend wouldn’t last two days doing my job.

You are the one suffering under misconceptions. You have an irrational view of all women. I’d guess it’s based on your failure to establish a loving, trusting partnership with one.
