Filmed at "The Birds" star Tippi Hedren's ranch outside of LA, and starring dozens & dozens of big cats, mostly lions and tigers. It's one of the most insane things I've ever seen.

If you've never seen it, check the trailer: LINK

70 people were injured in the making of "Roar," including the teen-aged Melanie Griffith, who needed 50 stitches in the face after getting clawed by a lion.

Read more about it here.

Edited to correct Hitchcock film...

Roar is pretty freaking crazy. I saw it when they re-released it several years back and it's not even like a real movie, no plot. Just the fam and dozens of big cats.

It's hilarious seeing a lion playfully swat at a guy and send him flying twenty feet. Was eye opening to how strong they were.

It wasn’t the tigers that make Tiger King interesting. It was all the crazy trashy idiots who happened to own tigers
