Ok now you're just lying. I've seen you post in every Tesla thread I read
I searched my post history and found 3 Tesla threads that I've commented in. Comments in bold baw. And frick i should have listened to myself and shorted TSLA on 1/29
Most recent

TSLA market cap is $57bil, Ford $46bil. Thought that was interesting.
That's a bubble if I've ever seen one. Time to short Tesla.

Why does every Tesla thread trigger oilfield baws on this site?
Good luck keeping the unions away from Tesla in California. The left will eat their own again. A model 3 will be 70k once they start having to pay battery installers 120k per year.

TESLA unveils semi truck (500 mile max range, 0-60 in 5 secs, 400 miles in 30 mins charge)
Nikola motors will beat them to market with a much longer range, bigger truck
Yeah theirs gets like 1,000 miles.

In this thread you were anti SpaceX though, is that just due to the owner and his other company?

Mostly yes. I don't get the benefit of this launch to society either. But if it's a private company than idgaf if he launches refrigerators into space as long as taxpayers aren't footing the bill.
Musk has a history of being dependent corporate welfare (some of it not his fault like tax credits to buy EVs) which I'm generally against whether it be an oil company or Tesla. He also has a history of over promising and under delivering.
Again I have nothing against technology, I just think the market should pick winners and losers rather than government.

It was a test to prove a new launch system. Society just got a new heavy lift rocket to space, and much cheaper than previous rockets. It was a huge benefit to society.

Unless you think the space program is useless.....it gives us a super heavy lifter that costs a fraction of our past comparable rockets, and does it with a flourish of techno prowess.

Wut?
They didn’t just get free money.
NASA entered into contracts with them for a service, like many other businesses. They didn’t get it by default: it was an open bid that no one matched.
Unlike many other businesses, they use that funding to build a foundation to support something larger.
Their early external funding wasn’t from grants, it was from selling a product to the commercial, NASA, and DoD sectors.
