I'm sure I'd be a big hit for blaming Obama and Hillary for arming ISIS.

Or wait, do I have to choose a side?

I've named a lot of shite the US has done. I've no idea how you missed those posts. I used commas and everything.

Anyways, rebel's bitch arse is right. This is a discussion for the poli board and we've went way past what this thread is meant for, updates on the attack on London.

Sorry y'all.

I'm not sure as to what you're asking. Saddam needed to go in 1991 but it wouldn't have been kosher with the rest of the Arab elites. Saddam had become more religious after 1991 so I do think he could've been a major threat in terms of terrorism. Saddam had WMDs, but would he have given them away? I doubt it. Saddam knew after 1991 that he wasn't as powerful as he thought he was.

I don't think the Iraq war was done correctly on anyone's part from a political strategist or military strategist. With that being said, I don't think the US directly contributed to the formation of ISIS. The war definitely influenced a lot of men but they didn't do anything to make it happen.

The creation of the Islamic State and the terrible acts they commit are more a product of tribalism than the US invading.

ETA: I agree it's time to stop this one. RIP to the victims of the London attack. And Godspeed to the ones who will be a part of the recovery.

Good talk cas4t

I'm speaking to ISIS in particular and the timeline of events led to their formation. It wasn't just the Iraq war. but whatever, I'm done derailing this thread. And we actually agree more than you think. I don't place sole or even majority blame on the US. Obviously these people have been killing each other for hundreds of years. Your initial posts regarding humans making decisions seemed as though you were ignoring a lot of other important facts.

Anyways, I'm out. Sorry for anything I said that was insulting or out of line. Thankfully, sticks and stones and all that

Well I was trying to connect it to the terror attack when talking about sole individuals carrying out attacks and not only middle eastern sociopolitics.

That's a fair argument considering this one looks like a lone wolf

this actually extends even further than the Middle East. Look at Afghanistan where everything is completely tribal and all the tribes are aways fighting each other.

I agree. These people have been fighting for centuries and took their shite on the road during the Middle Ages. I respect the contributions the Muslim world has given and I find their culture, as I do all different cultures, fascinating but, I sometimes wonder what would this world be like if the Mongols would have just wiped them out instead of withdrawing.

I hate that the news is saying "how did this happen"

You literally can do nothing to stop this sort of attack

Good news is that it's been announced he was shot dead

Bad news is it appears the injured total is up to around 40

Can't even read the fricking thread for all of the delusional bulkshit. If I'd wanted this shite, I'd go to the poli board... which I'd rather eat glass than do.

Well, I do, but I wasn't referring to you; hence the "delusional bullshite" part. I agree with a lot of what you say here.
