Laughter can diffuse these situations from code red nuclear to playful in the matter of seconds. Quite amazing actually. Over the years, I've learned to just sit in nod my head so that a woman can get it all out. Eventually sanity prevails...eventually.

My husband and I have this crazy argument about twice a year.
It’s irrational, I admit, but it’s the pressure of having to “give” to yet another person. It comes from feeling overwhelmed with the needs of kids & husband and just not having anything left for anyone else. We know we should go have a drink with friends but the last thing I need is someone else needing so,etching from me even if it’s 2 hours for a cocktail.
