Yep, I always felt out of place until I got here. Luckily my first wife was game to pull up stakes and try something new.

I spent a weeks in Omaha and Lincoln in February when y'all had some record breaking cold. It was like -15. Never felt anything like that. I still think it's a nice place though. I'd live in Nebraska.

They should put up better signs about the contra flow out of downtown Omaha though. I drove back in downtown the same way I came out and almost killed a few people

That's one of the negatives of the plains or Midwest, the winter wind.

Its localized here. Lots of microclimates. Wind sheltered areas are the coldest

I’ve been to SoCal to vacation, and while I loved it and can’t wait to go back I think I would off myself not even a year in if I moved there.

I like plenty of the people in the South. Just not the climate/terrain/weather etc.

My daughter is hiking and camping with my dad right now in Glacier National Park and I'm pissed d because I'm not there.

Guess I can't bring over the Travel Ball Application then?

Jody....did they bring any Mr. Gatti's? I'll see what I can do.

I10 E bound, and hwy 59 is one long LA Tag traffic jam. Real Answer. I don't see a ton of 5A tags to BR.

Mountains are a must, the sea is close behind.

Nature soothes my spirit, makes everything alright. I take my camera and do a lot of nature shots.

I have no clue what your obsessed arse is trying to say here. Your jealousy of anyone that leaves Louisiana is weird

Beautiful Roger.

My little girl is supposed to be taking pictures but she probably won't take many. It's not her nature.

She's the kid that picked up the snake in our house a few weeks ago while mom was screaming and told her "chill mom, it's a baby rat snake. Let me take it outside"

I got family in LA and every few years more leave LA for places like Texas. Cant blame them. LA is a brain drain. It's nice to visit but I'd never live in that sweaty humid hellhole

I’m not going to embarrass you again but the people reading this thread know what I’m talking about.

Sounds like an awesome kid

I enjoy treating kids to the outdoors. Took a couple on the walk yesterday and talked geology. It's amazing how much interest they'll have if you allow them to experience things
