Buy her the Glock 26 or 43.
I have a Glock 17 and a Sig P250. Love both, Glocks are just easier to shoot. Getting the Glock 26 soon.

Ive been thinking about getting a gun for home for a while now. Looked at the Glock and Springfield. I bought a Glock 9mm. Happy early Christmas/Bday to me!
Now just to learn how to shoot. Never fired a gun in my life. LOL.
