If you can go back in time to hang out at Northgate Tavern then it would be a great place to live.
But now...well.. There's a Buffalo Wild Wings right there you can get all boozed up at.

I own property between venue and campus . I can not speak for the inside activity of the venue but the area itself is safe… no traffic of significance other than normal campus traffic… I look out my window and see students walking at all times from the venue to campus… you have a bunch of very nice newer dorms next door…I would suggest this is much safer than a lot of the other areas students choose . As others have said just stay in the area and do not walk past aster ( but no reason to do that unless you are going to lsu band practice field… )lots of places to eat and close to lsu dinning options also.
