Not to mention "borrowing" a city bus parked outside the stadium during one of the many games we lost, parking it next to the Fiji house (as though they did it), then hauling arse over to the E house. Great times!

Quarter longnecks at The Bayou on Wed & Fri. Usually with the shite Dogs playing.

The Library

The Pub in the basement of Hatcher

The Country Place after 2am

The Carlotta St. Halloween party. Also with the shite Dogs.

Magoo's on St. Paddy's Day

The mushroom field near Bocage

Holy shite how did I survive, much less graduate?

This has to be one of the best threads I've read in a long arse time. My dad and uncle were both Fijis in the late 70s. My dad has told me about some wild times at Fiji island. My uncle was Fiji king one year. He is now a devout Christian and has never told his kids what he did because he doesn't want them to think of him that way. My uncle also made my mom and dad promise they would never speak of what he did.

LSU '92 - '97

Tiger Bar was a usual. Zeus the bouncer. Usually hit Snorkels first for a flaming Dr. Pepper. Sometimes would hop over to sports. Usually head over to Caterie once I ran out of money to listen to Allison Collins before she became a Who Dat.

Usually went to listen to Amos Moses and Liquid Jelley Monkey Love.

Would frequent The Varsity for 70s and 80s retro.

Good times.

Floor parties with huge mixes of jungle juice in Kirby Smith.

Lived in Kirby for 2 years Fall of '90 - Spring of '92. 7th floor (my floor) had the best floor parties (55 gallon grey trash cans full of jungle juice - Thanks Leo). In the spring we had kegs every Thursday (Vollyball Thursdays). The Kirby bonfire (RIP) was the best non-frat party on campus. I remember vividly going to businesses in the dead of night and stealing wooden pallets to build the bonfire with, got caught by a cop leaving a industrial site once, he called the owner who asked what and why. The cop told him and he said "that's ok as long as it's for the Kirby bonfire." Keg parties by Miller and Herget hall getting attacked by the rabid geese that lived in the lakes. Miller whores were top notch. Camping out on the PMAC ramps with the Shaq Pack, kegs, good ole baws cooking Jambalaya, sex in tents, and Daddy Dale buying all of us pizza. Would not trade it for the world.

eta: stealing a metal lunch cart from Pentagon cafeteria and doing out version of drunken luge down the PMAC ramps.

Yeah, there were always about 15 busses parked outside the student gates (along with that EBR Patty Wagon). All the bus drivers would leave them running and go watch the game. Lead bus in line made a perfect limousine for about 50 of the brothers/dates. I hope the statute of limitations has expired by now.

We definitely partied together.

Thursday was the free keg and volleyball for the whole dorm, and Friday nights were floor parties with jungle juice and beer balls. The 7th and 5th floor (my floor) were the best. Todd and Leo were great RAs.

I used to work the front desk on the overnight shift, and I can't tell you how many people I saw stumbling or carried into the elevators all night long.

Up until a few years ago I still tailgated with Leo and Fireball Todd. I wore shorts year round and passed out in the kitchen at one of the parties. Woke up and some bastard had shaved half of both my legs.

Just to give a comparison to now and then, my son is a Freshman living in Acadian Hall. He said right before the first home football game they had a fire drill and searched everyone's room while they were outside. When they were done they brought all the "contraband" they had found outside and gave them all the "talk". He said they collected hot plates, toaster ovens, and about 60 fifths of Jack and Makers. Many people had a sad.
