I live there.

Carver’s Brewing, College Drive Cafe are both great for breakfast.

2nd Deli & Spirits good lunch spot.

El Moro Tavern on Main has great food and even better beverages.

Main St can be really touristy.

Driving up on Rim Dr on FLC campus has a great overlook.

Eta: The drive north on 550 to Silverton is amazing. Weve gotten some snow recently but CDOT does a good job of keeping the roads clear

Thanks. If I have time on Sunday I’ll try to check out as much of these as I can.

It’s a business trip, so no. Basically the only real free time I’ll have will be Sunday afternoon & evening. I might have some free time Monday evening but I’m not sure. Our flight home leaves Tuesday at 6 AM so I can’t be out very late the evening before.

It's a hippy, very liberal, new age town. If you're into that sort of stuff you'll love it.

Have family there. It’s pretty picturesque. Watch a few Hallmark movies to acclimate.

Well arrived here in Durango a couple hours ago. Got checked into my hotel and now I’m waiting on a table at Steamworks Brewing Co for lunch. Gotta say this is a beautiful town. One thing I wasn’t anticipating though was how I’d handle the thin air up here. So far I’m good other than feeling slightly drunk.
