Considering nothing is against the law there, I'd say she won't get a job doing that.

Have you done a long commute before? I'm telling you man, the Denver rush hour traffic is insane. I lived in LA for a year and it can almost be as bad as the 405 at times.

Also, for half the year (winter) it is even worse because of all the accidents.

With your price range and location request, I'd look in Aurora.

Check out Parker, CO.

It's a nice little suburb of Denver. My sister lives out there and always says how pleased she is with her son's (6) school.

Btw, why would you move there if neither of you have a job there yet?

was looking at that

we would obviously not move until we had jobs, but we are just tossing around the idea, seeing what places are feasible and what places arent

With kids, look at Highlands Ranch. I spent a significant amount of time there for work. I'd mI've there without hesitation.

I believe the DIA complex sits on close to 55 square miles. I found that astounding. Maybe you could find some land there to buy, it might be noisy but it would be safe

SLC is aight. Feels kind of small to me whereas Denver is more big city with the big city amenities. I am not sure how much I would like SLC with all the Mormons. Both have awesome outdoor activities. Denver is real estate getting expensive but its a great place to live.

If the OP wants great cost of living with reasonable r/e prices and great schools and economy that is booming? Look at DFW.

Good luck getting a nice house with land 30 min from downtown for 400k.

More like a million.

Traffic sucks

Downtown is now full of homeless burnouts.

But very nice being less than an hour from tons of mountain activities.

Great summers.

i've heard very different things about this

like the Mormon shite is pervasive culturally, but from what many have told me, they have a metric frick ton of super hot, blonde/blue freaks beneath the surface. you're not always going to hit a home run, but home runs are possible
