Gheens isnt as bad as it used to be in this regard. Lots of outsiders around lately and no issues.

Alot of outsiders come in weekly to play basketball at the community center or have parties and weddings and there are no issues.

Bia please! La Tour in Matthews.

PSA: Do not run over the black grasshoppers in Chackbay. Bad arse local kids put tacks in them.

I’ve lived in LA my whole life and had to look up Gheens. Never heard of it until now.

For over a century, the people of Gheens have celebrated Mardi Gras with a whipping ritual locally called "the chase," in which men of the village "dress out" in colorful masks and disguises to chase and symbolically whip local children and teens.

Gheens sounds like an odd place.
