Someone posted on fb they didnt add their teen driver to their auto policy. The kid wrecked the car and the insurance company paid anyway. They are advocating not carrying underage kids on policy. Sounds like b.s. to me and unlawful. Anyone have any info/experience with this?

According to my insurance agent, anyone living in my house with a valid driver's license is covered on my car. Now if I buy him another car, I would have to add him.

Probably falls under the category of a rare driver.

Like if a family member comes and visits you, they drive your car once and wreck it, they'd be covered. Has to be in the same vein and not the full story.

How much of a difference does that make? In theory, I understand why, with great grades she's a nerd and likely won't leave the house, but just weird they lower the rates for... those people.

My folks got lower rates for good grades and when I took driver's education. Don't know if they still do that shite or not. That was 25 years ago.

Just because she let some guy take pictures of her in her underwear, that doesn't make her a model.

My son drove same kind of car and we paid almost $100 more a month..... Now that was A few years ago without the texting bullshite that goes on today... But it used to be that insurance companies looked at grades to see what kind of responsible person was driving A car at such a young age,............
