This is the simplest, most harmless form of discipline I've seen from a teacher. To think this is suspendable let alone criminally chargeable is just hysterical.
And you're wrong if you think making an example of or making a show of someone isn't successful in thousands of instances.

I enjoyed this teacher method. Shame one as a warning to other, cut one out of 30 and the 29 will be saved.
