What about 190 from Merryville crossing over to Texas on 190 to Newton, TX. Is 190 flooded out too?

Has been since Saturday and they evacuated Merryville this weekend. You can't even get to the bridge itself there is so much water on 190

Got to Facebook and type in "Merryville drone"

why does water run north to south?
Mostly elevation difference. The Nile runs south to north however and the Amazon run west to east.

A buddy of mine who works for a media outlet warned about this route that officially, the LA State Police only vouch for the conditions of those routes they release.

Anyone able to confirm the Port Arthur-Cameron route??

I-10 at the Louisiana-Texas border remains open, despite plans to close it due to flooding on the Sabine River.

Officials announced plans to close the interstate at 9 a.m. Tuesday, but DOTD tweeted at 9:45 a.m. that the roadway is still open and the plan is to close it within the next few hours.

This is Highway 82 from the Cheniere plant. Westbound traffic is backed up for miles, just stop and go for those guys. Thankfully I'm heading east and north!
