I taped it to his next biggest toe...wondering if I should take him in for X-rays. It's a toe, can they do anything?

Can't do shite for a toe. Tell your kid to stop being a pussy.

if you want to waste money, sure. It is a toe, they will wrap it and send you on your way

They can pin it if it’s displaced. If you think it’s broken he needs to go to the dr.

For a kid, yes. You need to make sure the bone is set properly for growth.

Yeah man. Take him. I made the mistake of breaking one and not getting it fixed once. It's messed up looking now.

I realize nothing can be done for a broken toe but given what morbid mentioned about possible ligament damage combined with the fact that I love my kid, I'd probably take him to the Dr.

He's supposed to guest play tomorrow in a tournament. Tape it up and send him out there...? It's his right foot. I imagine even if he can't lace it he can pass just fine. Can he move...that's the ?

Yes

If it is broken in his growth plate it could frick it up in the future

It's not incredibly likely but it's worth the trip

Yeah take him. Toe problems can lead to major balance issues. That's super important when he finally develops fully.

This.

They’ll probably X-ray, brace/tape and then want you to follow up with an orthopedic.
