Big loss?

If Mitch Landrieu has the balls to order all of the statues taken down, he should have the balls to face the people of his city who he represents in a town hall and face their direct questions on the subject.
The fact that he hides behind prepared statements and refuses to face his city transparently shows what kind of an instigating rotten fricktard coward he is.

Can we ID the people coming in to ask questions?
Only Orleans Parish residents allowed.

That's a great idea. Maybe we should have a vote of whether to take down the monuments before they can be removed.
I am sure you support the bill in LA legislature that advocates exactly that, no?

This is what these idiots don't recognize....they just alienated one of early well known white men that advocated for some form of racial equality.
The current BLM movement and its offshoots like this monument thing is the most fricking racist thing in this country since the KKK.

I'm sure that bill will sit on JBEs desk until all of these statues are down. Even then it probably won't get signed.

White people of New Orleans are finding out what it feels like to be the minority and they definitley don't like it.
I find it funny that when blacks take over a city, it turns to shite (Bogalusa, detroit, chiscago) etc. Yes whites are the minority in NOLA but that is because they dont want to live in shite. Look at St. Tammany Parish for example. During the great white flight many whites moved to St. Tammany parish and it us booming! Convington and Mandevile is a beutiful example, frick New Orleans! I wish the saints would move so that I dont have a reason to support the shite whole that Mitch the dem bitch has created.

What would New Orleans be without the "White People" money?
Aww, now there you go, injecting a little reality into the party. New Orleans would be a worse disaster area than it already has become. The potholes would have potholes. Every hospital would be one big trauma center. The infrastructure would collapse. Any semblance of civilization would dissolve into the northernmost province of something like Haiti. It would be a glorious blaze of incompetence, ignorance and corruption. And it could possibly even bankrupt donor George Soros. Might be worth it to see that happen.
This is the reality that they do not want to admit.

But do you support the bill?
PS if he doesn't sign it, it becomes law automatically.

Congratulations on taking some statues down while tens of thousands are living in ghettos and wondering if they're going to be the victim of a homicide tonight. But by all means, keep thinking that wasting taxpayer dollars on removing 100 year old statues is somehow fixing your problems.
I bet if the manpower used at the statue removal last night was actually dispersed throughout the city instead of being paraded like a shitshow last night by Bayou St. John, 5 people possibly would not have been shot. And two people would still be alive today. But lets focus on monuments people.
"Keep your eyes on the prize, oh no!"

Whites, for the most part, aren't the ones living in New Orleans.
The city is 60% Africa American, 5% Hispanic, and 3% Asian

I still see no way is there a majority that wanted these statues removed.

I think it is a slippery slope. That takes power away from local municipalities or causes them to jump through hoops. Adds more government and red tape.

I think they is a majority of people who don't give a shite. Followed by a vocal minority that want them removed.
An even smaller number that is truly trying to stop the monuments.
