Just crossed the spillway going west out of New Orleans. Eastbound Traffic lanes blocked about 2-3 miles west of the I-310 exit.due to a tanker on fire. Could be a while as it looked like the fire just started.

Is it normal that our interstate system in Louisiana has like 3 tanker fires a week? I feel like that shouldn’t be a thing

I moved from NOLA to Br 3 years ago. This hits way too close to home.

There’s always a tanker accident in LA due to the high amount of trucks hauling gases and stuff to the plants and refineries.
