Then your knowledge of pay scale for a nationally run commercial is sorely lacking.
I have a friend who was paid 100 thousand initially for the first run for doing a Sam Adams voiceover in the late 90's- and that was just for the first run, he continued to make bank for another 3 years when they re-optioned.

That is the most realistic commercial on television. They would usually have swimsuit models stuffing their faces with chicken nuggets.
