Its been a while since I've seen a mobile phone coverage post in the OT lounge. I'm contemplating changing from Verizon to T-Mobile in the next month or so due to a much less expensive overall bill. Will I regret it?

T-Mobile coverage IN Baton Rouge is pretty decent. Just don't get too far away. I have them simply because no one has coverage where I live and T-Mobile has Wifi calling. That way I don't have to walk outside, stand on one leg and hold my head at a 38.5 degree angle to get signal.

And KR, you do know me.

It's awesome out here. I have 4g east to lake Chuck and west to Bellville. In La, different story.

No phone signal at all past Denham all the way to Hammond.

No signal at all Laffy to Port Allen.

No signal from BTR airport to The Bluffs.

When I say no signal, I mean maybe 911. DONT DO IT.

Had a coworker who would cross certain streets in BR and lose a signal till she got back to her house. She'd also lose it every time she went from Hammond to Jackson MS. IF you plan on traveling, steer clear.

Don't do it if you travel a lot. Much cheaper than Att but once you get out of any city there's zero signal.

This. I have it for wi-fi calling free texting and data in other countries. I am in central america often. but it's pain in the arse on the road here in the US. Fine in town.

If you are a world traveler then go with T-mobile. No traveling charges, use your phone like you would in the states.

T-Mobile has more than adequate coverage along the interstate corridors.

For calls yes but I find the Internet is very slow or nonexistent. Might just be my phone..
