If you ever watch "The Book of Manning" on ESPN, pay attention to the final scene as the credits are rolling. Archie is sitting on his front steps with his grandchildren surrounding him. He asks them all where they want to go to college. One or two of the kids say "Ole Miss". One says "Tennessee" (presumably Peyton's kid). At the end, the kid sitting above him says "LSU". Archie turns abruptly and says something like "OH NO YOU DON'T".

Well there is all the taxes he paid while living here both property and income, charity work, tuition for 3 to Newman. They have the Manning camp here, and they speak well of Louisiana. I mean they have done more than anything they had to do.

I get where you're coming from. I don't really have an opinion on the Mannings, but some local folks take the Manning love a little too far. And they get pissed when I say I could give or take them.
