There have been some damn strong velocity couplets in TX this evening. Hell, there are secondary rotations that look stronger than anything that has been warned in LA today.

Confirmed large and extremely dangerous tornado on this storm in Texas. Off to the southwest of Abilene.

Strangely enough, I just listened to Skip Talbot talking about secondary chase locations today, and instances like this. Not particularly with this messy of a storm mode, but got into so Meso stuff that was interesting. Pecos Hank, who has joined Talbot's team echoed what he was saying.

Every storm I've looked at out that way that was warned has had a TDS tonight. Crazy.
