Surgical tech caught switching syringes tests positive for HIV

Allen is facing federal charges after he was caught stealing the highly addictive drug fentanyl from Swedish Medical Center of Colorado.

Are you meaning outside of the body? If so then no.
It dies fairly quickly on surfaces. Hepatitis is the one that can live for quite some time on a surface. Don't know about years.
