Support for Police, Firemen and EMT's

I have posted this before and I will post it again....Why is there so much deserved support for our Troops, but literally none for the Police, Firemen and EMT's that work our streets each and every day?
These men and women see more action and face more danger yearly then most troops will ever face in a career. They leave their families everyday not knowing if they will come back again. Even firemen and EMT's are shot at regularly and still rush into conflict that others bolt from. last night they were protecting the very people that were protesting against THEM...and doing it with honor and integrity.
It makes no sense to me that we leave them out of the conversation. We need to find a way in this Country to put them in the same bucket as our troops and hold them in the same realm of esteem, honor and respect for what they do.
I have no family members in any of these groups. I just have always wondered why we think like this as a Country.

local authorities provide a far more valuable service to us in practicality than our military does. It's not the soldier's faults, but we haven't been in a useful war that benefits America since at least Korea, and more realistically since WWII.
Again, NOT the fault of the soldiers, but the actions in Afghanistan and Iraq have been devastating to America and our allies. All blame for that to Bush and Obama, NOT the troops, but it's true.

If you give $100 to their fund they send you that and you can drive 12 over the speed limit without getting a ticket instead of only 8 over

It's a sticker suckers buy that they think will get them out of speeding tickets. Kinda like the folks with the thin blue line on black tape.

With speeding ticket prices skyrocketing in recent years, that's a good return on your investment.

Most EMTs and paramedics make terrible money and have shite benefits.
When I was a kid, I took a pay cut from Walmart to go work at an ambulance service.
