I don't think it works that way. I've known some people who've home schooled multiple of their own children and they were in an association of like minded home schoolers.
It was a fairly large number of families and students. They participated in social events and sports as an adjunct to academics but were limited by numbers to basketball I think.
I went to a graduation where maybe 50 were awarded diplomas and the valedictorian addressed the gathering.
The kids I knew were respectful, polite and seemingly well adjusted.
