Well one because I don't hunt it or cook it. I've had it when others have cooked it. And it is braised down in a gravy like a pot roast and served over rice. It is good. But it does not taste like chicken or beef which is the whole reason to try it. If I put a plate in front of you and said it is pot roast if you like pot roast you would eat it and chances are would like it.

Try squirrel brains and scrambled eggs. Now that's some good eats.

Because they are free and abundant. Could also appeal to the whole foods type folks. Nothing cleaner than a garbage eating coon

I have had squirrel a few times. Its alright, but not worth the effort for such little meat IMO.

Would be willing to try coon, no doubt.



Don't think I'd eat opossum. Things are just evil and "next-level" gross looking.
